Description:
- Transform a retail space into an appropriate office for NCD Tech, an upward moving, IT Co with style.
- The owner had a clear vision of his desired company image, layout, and was intent on doing much of the construction work himself.
Challenge:
- Keeping the space open so the staff could see out while maintaining a clean look to the customers.
- Drafty single pane non tempered glass front.
- Making use of seemingly wasted narrow areas
- Working with the existing plumbing locations
Concept Solution:
- Update the glass front for energy conservation and safety
- Design a large open space with designated work areas layered for organization
- Conceal open work area clutter to be hidden from customer entry view using low partitions
- Inexpensive uncluttered interest for a high tech appearance use clean lines and geometric shapes, with strong colors
Supporting Design features:
- Warm colors to contrast the starkness for balance and comfort
- Darkened space for comfortable computer screen viewing.
